Description
On behalf of an important reality that operates in the space field, we are looking for an AIV System Engineer.
Background:
1. University degree preferably in the fields of Aerospace/Space Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering;
2. Ground Segment and subsystems verification plans definitions, maintenance, and control;
3. Carry out Assembly, Integration, and Verification of Ground Segment and subsystems at all levels;
4. Support systems design;
5. Interfacing with all subsystems and relevant teams during AIV phases;
6. Support to operational and pre-operational phases;
7. Authoring of Technical documents.
Skills :
8. Knowledge of System Engineering and system-level knowledge of all Ground Segment subsystems;
9. Proficient in working in a Linux environment and hardware virtualized environment;
10. Experience in ECSS AIV process;
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
12. Proactive attitude and ability to work in a team;
13. Full professional proficiency in the English language is mandatory;
14. High motivation, proactive working approach and strong sense of responsibility.
Tasks :
15. Familiarization with, finalization and maintenance of the HW/SW MOC Pre-release Platform for the validation of FOP/GOP and SVT (i.e. the platform for operations data validation and operational configuration);
16. Plan and schedule the integration, testing and validation phases;
17. Define the procedures to integrate ad install the different subsystems at customer site;
18. Define the requirements to be verified with the selected methods in the applicable stages at the defined levels;
19. Prepare AIV documents such as plans, test specifications, and technical notes;
20. Contribute to security test specification;
21. Define the objectives and justify the scope of the tests;
22. Indicate the test facilities to be used;
23. Define resources and organization to co‐ordinate and manage all technical activities necessary to assembly, verify, operate and maintain the system in conformance with the customer’s requirements;
24. Demonstrate that design and performances meet the specified requirements at the specified levels of confidence;
25. Identify critical development problems and assist in their resolution;
26. Define verification planning;
27. Define levels and pass criteria for the above tests;
28. Evaluate and assess test results.
Required Skills
- At least five years of working experience in a relevant field;
- Knowledge of System Engineering and system-level knowledge of all Ground Segment subsystems;
- Proficient in working in a Linux environment and hardware virtualized environment;
- Experience in ECSS AIV process;
- University degree preferably in the fields of Aerospace/Space Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering;
- Full professional proficiency in the English language is mandatory.
