Design and develop secure, scalable backends following Zero Trust principles. Define and implement security standards (encryption, authentication, authorization). Azure Infrastructure & Security Engineer – NIS2 / ISO 27001 (Remote) The role leads NIS2 and ISO/IEC 27001 compliance projects, enabling secure, resilient, and observable architecture on Azure and on‑prem environments. Responsibilities
Conduct NIS2/ISO 27001 assessment and gap analysis. Define remediation plans backed by audit‑ready evidence. Design and govern hybrid infrastructure (Azure Arc, Azure Stack HCI). Handle migrations and disaster recovery with Azure Migrate, Site Recovery. Implement Microsoft Sentinel and Defender. Hardening: IAM (Entra ID), MFA, Conditional Access, PIM, least‑privilege, role segregation. Governance: Azure Policy/Blueprints, tagging, cost management, compliance controls. Degree or equivalent experience in IT/ Security. 4–6 years Azure infrastructure/security experience (compute, storage, networking, identity). Experience with ISO 27001:2022 controls (A.5–A.8) and NIS2 (incident reporting, BCM). Proficiency in Sentinel, Defender, Log Analytics, Azure Monitor.
