PpThe Buyer leads the development and implementation of procurement strategies and activities resulting in best-in-class quality, delivery and total cost of ownership in relation to the assigned commodities. The Buyer will be responsible for RFQ/tender execution, negotiations, market analysis, strategy development, contract management as well as processing/monitoring purchasing orders. He/she will be also focused on the improvement of inventory turns while ensuring on time material availability a the manufacturing site. The resource will actively liaise with RD, Production, Quality and Sales Teams. Position is based in Ronchi dei Legionari. /p h3Duties Responsibilities /h3 ul liCommodities strategies definition and implementation; /li liManage relationships with suppliers in his/her scope of responsibility; /li liRFQ/tender preparation, execution and analysis and contracting; /li liDeploy contracts, standard terms conditions, preferred payment terms and Incoterms in alignment with the business objectives and strategies set by Group Supply Chain; /li liEnsure suppliers’ prices, lead time and other conditions are correctly entered and maintained in the ERP system; /li liAchieve cost reduction and inventory turns targets; /li liManage purchasing orders and follow-up; /li liMonitor inventory and ensure that stocks are kept at appropriate levels; /li liMonitor and report Supplier On Time Delivery, working actively to improve the same if not in line with the targets; /li liEngage with suppliers to solve quality and delivery issues; /li liInvestigate and suggest new supply partners along with rationalization of the supply base where appropriate. /li liContribute to improve procurement processes/tools and ensure adherence to Group policies/governance; /li liManage priorities and competing demands, effectively managing internal customer expectations; /li liCollaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Technical dept.) on the purchasing of specific items, new components and on the phase out of obsolete material; /li liReview periodically the replenishment strategy to keep it always up to date; /li liAnalyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions. /li /ul h3Accountability and Metrics /h3 ul liPurchasing Cost Reduction; /li liMaterial availability on time to respect Site production plan and customer request; /li liSupplier On Time Delivery; /li liInventory Value and Inventory Turns. /li /ul h3Work Experience Education Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor's Degree in relevant field will be preferable; /li liMinimum 5+ years of experience in procurement / supply chain management: /li /ul h3Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required /h3 ul liSolid analytical, IT and organizational skills and the ability to work in team, even cross functional; /li liResults oriented and organized with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines; /li liAbility for high problem identification and problem resolution, demonstrated ability to make sound judgment and decisions; /li liIncline to build, develop and maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally; /li liA pronounced customer-centric focus, performance accountability, innovation adaptability, positive energy, respect teamwork and absolute integrity (winning right); /li liMust be fluent in English. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
