Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Survey CAD Technician to join our team. You will translate raw field data into deliverables such as ALTA surveys, plats, and construction staking diagrams, working closely with surveyors, engineers, and field crews to ensure accuracy. Key Responsibilities: Produce survey drawings, maps, and plats using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Interpret survey data to generate construction layouts, ALTA / NSPS Land Title Surveys, and staking diagrams. Assist in preparing topographic and boundary survey plans. Collaborate with surveyors and engineers to verify project deliverables. Maintain adherence to drafting standards and regulatory requirements. Review survey data for accuracy. Support field crews with data processing and troubleshooting. Help evolve CAD standards and processes. Qualifications: Associate degree or technical certification in CAD, surveying, civil engineering, or related field. Minimum 2 years of survey drafting experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Understanding of land surveying principles and instruments. Ability to interpret field notes, plats, and plans. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team. Familiarity with GPS, total stations, and field equipment is a plus. Physical ability to assist field teams and lift up to 50 pounds. Compliance with OSHA standards and adaptability to diverse environments.
