Our platform combines edge AI, cloud orchestration, and modular software to enable real‐time interaction between charging stations, vehicles, people, and urban infrastructure. We unlock the hidden potential of charging stations for dynamic data collection, personalized digital services, local advertising, predictive maintenance, and full city system integration. WaveLAB operates in Bolzano, Italy, and across Europe, partnering with charging operators, cities, OEMs, service providers, and infrastructure partners.You'll be part of a small, fast‐moving team where your code runs on real devices in real cities. You'll write, test and deploy edge‐based features that power the next generation of EV infrastructure.TasksDevelop embedded software modules on Linux for IoT/Edge devices.Integrate standard protocols (OCPP, ISO 15118) and cloud systems.Support architectural design and technical roadmap definition.Contribute to testing, validation, and technical documentation.RequirementsProven experience in IoT/Edge software development.Solid knowledge of embedded Linux and programming languages (Python and/or C++).Familiarity with communication protocols (OCPP or similar).Proactive, self‐driven, and motivated to build in a startup environment.Nice to haveAI/computer visionContainerization (Docker/Kubernetes)Background in smart mobility or smart citiesWe offerA key role in a fast‐growing innovative startup.Direct collaboration with the CTO, with potential growth into a Head of Engineering.Full flexibility (location and working hours).Access to our ESOP plan and the opportunity to be part of WaveLAB's success story.
