We are seeking a Head of Electrical and Electronics Engineering to lead our Technology Engineering team. This role involves managing a multidisciplinary team to meet quality, timeline, and cost objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and develop a team of Electrical & Electronics engineers.
* Manage technical tasks and project responsibilities based on team skills and company priorities.
* Oversee workloads and foster a collaborative work environment.
* Handle talent acquisition, recruitment, and onboarding.
* Identify growth opportunities and promote professional development.
* Improve processes, tools, and performance through team retrospectives and lessons learned.
* Define, improve, and maintain procedures and standards.
* Scout and select tools for the E&E discipline.
* Establish and monitor E&E group KPIs.
* Set objectives for team members and monitor progress.
* Conduct feedback sessions, annual appraisals, and salary reviews.
* Support project planning and execution, ensuring E&E capabilities meet project needs.
* Act as the technical owner for E&E engineering topics, including specifications and risk management.
* Oversee design, development, and validation of electrical and electronic systems for space applications.
* Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and partners to define requirements and provide support.
* Identify and mitigate technical and programmatic risks.
Required Skills:
* Proven experience managing technical teams and complex projects.
* Deep knowledge of space industry regulations, safety standards, and certifications in E&E.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Education:
* Master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or related fields.
Professional Experience:
* Minimum of 10 years in leadership roles within the aerospace electrical & electronics sector.
Language:
* Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory.
