We adopt a client‑centric approach and are currently seeking tax professionals to manage a diverse portfolio of clients. /p pAs an Indirect Tax Consultant, you will provide comprehensive advice, offering practical guidance on VAT regulations, cross‑border transactions, and ensuring full compliance with VAT laws. /p h3Indirect Tax Consultant, The Role /h3 ul liProvide high‑quality VAT consultancy and business advice to your client portfolio continuously. /li liCalculate and file European VAT returns meticulously and promptly, ensuring the highest level of accuracy. /li liAdvise clients on VAT liabilities, guide them on tax payments, proactively remind them of outstanding returns, and ensure compliance with European filings, EC Sales, and Intrastat reporting as required. /li liCommunicate with tax offices regarding clients’ accounts and obligations. /li liConduct VAT audits/investigations in collaboration with tax offices related to your client portfolio. /li liManage clients' accounts in coordination with the Credit Control Department. Stay consistently updated with VAT law and any changes in legislation. /li liProvide exceptional customer service to build trust, rapport, and strong relationships within your portfolio. /li liRepresent the company professionally at events/webinars. /li liTrain, support, and develop new team members. /li liCollaborate positively and enthusiastically with the team. /li liActively engage with Managers and Directors to suggest contributions for improving procedures. /li /ul h3Essential /h3 ul liExperience working in Law/VAT/Accountancy/Finance. /li liMinimum 2 years of Italian VAT experience. /li liConfident and excellent communication skills for client interaction and engagement (Email, Phone, and face‑to‑face (ad hoc)). /li liWorks well in a team as well as independently. /li liExcellent verbal and written communication skills. /li liOrganised and proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. /li liExcellent multi‑tasking ability. /li /ul h3Desirable /h3 ul liExperience or knowledge of International E‑Commerce. /li /ul h3About Avask /h3 pAVASK Global Compliance are a rapidly expanding international firm that specialise in VAT, tax and accounting for e‑commerce businesses.
