On behalf of NESTLE’ Italiana and its INFANT NUTRITION Business Line, we are searching the:MEDICAL AND SCIENTIFIC AFFAIRS MANAGER ITALYMain Purpose of the JobReporting to Regional Head Nutrition South Europe, the candidate – supported by a team of two people - will develop and lead the medical strategy to sustain the business to win in the market. He / she will develop and reinforce Nestlé Nutrition medical and scientific positioning with KOLs, medical and scientific bodies, and HCPs.He/ she will enhance the scientific knowledge and messaging capabilities within the market to ensure that the business remains credible and competitive. The role is also responsible for Code Compliance.Main ResponsibilitiesDevelop the medical strategy in line with the market business strategy and the Global and Local Medical Affairs strategy. Drive the flawless and timely execution of this strategy.Medical Scientific SupportProvides scientific support for internal stakeholders for innovation/renovation/registration (e.g. Commercial, Regulatory, Public Affairs, NHW, etc.);Involved and works closely with the brand team to develop informational, educational and nutritional marketing materials and is responsible for the review and approval of them;Supports local regulatory teams in providing scientific substantiation for product innovation / renovation/ claims generation/ registration.Key Opinion Leader and Institutional Professional Association Collaboration in line with local regulationsResponsible to identify, engage and build relationships with medical and scientific stakeholders;Responsible to facilitate scientific activities through building an effective speaker pool to promote scientific concepts;Responsible for the review and approval of medical grants to KOLs C Medical associations where applicable and in line with internal and external codes and regulations;Coordinates participation in important medical congresses and other medical association events in the market.Medical EducationResponsible for designing C implementing medical educational programs/scientific events for healthcare professionals in line withlocal regulations;Responsible to develop internal educational/training programs relating to nutritional and brand concepts, and scientific positioning of products for internal stakeholders (e.g. Medical Delegates etc.).Code ComplianceResponsible for BU and market adherence to the Code Management system, the European Guidelines, and the local codes to ensure all market activities and material are in compliance.Qualification and ExperienceUniversity degree in Scientific Subjects or Medicine;A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role in the Nutrition industry, Clinical Nutrition, Food Supplements or pharmaceutical OTC / Generics or development in international well-structured company environments;Strong business and commercial acumen;Strong strategic leadership skills in matrix environment;Strong results focus;Proven track record of building strong networks of external and internal experts;Demonstrated success in leading diverse teams and creating a sustainable high performance culture;Place of work: Milan;NESTLE’ facilitates work-life harmony through flexible time management and smart working policies.La ricerca è rivolta a persone di entrambi i sessi (L. 903/77).
