Your responsibilities - Assure quality requirements are adequately defined and met at all functional levels to permit appropriate quality planning and verification of standards. - Identify quality performance, trends, and corrective actions in coordination with customers and suppliers. - Promote the global quality approach to all employees on site. - Provides quality-oriented leadership in achieving facility objectives, aiming at the highest degree of customer service, quality, cost reduction, productivity, while enhancing Health and Security standards. - Interfaces with internal and external Partners (customers, suppliers) to provide comprehensive responses and assistance regarding the integrated management system and/or products. - Leads plant in detection of improvement initiatives through PDCA approach, identifying root causes and promoting preventive and corrective action planning. - Champions and sponsors continuous improvement projects by coaching plant teams in effective customer complaint, problem solving, and verification activities. - Execute Zero defect Projects within the location to improve the Quality. - Participate in the development of new products and in design reviews for quality/reliability issues. - Leads and Coordinates of all IMS activities & documents within the location (as well as execution of the management review). - Leads & coordinates all internal & external audits activities in the location. Who we are looking for - Master’s degree in management engineering or related technical discipline. - Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts. - Effective facilitation and coaching skills, trustable internal consultant - Self-motivated, result driven. - Managerial experience, with demonstrated ability to provide leadership and motivation to employees both when supervising directly and in virtual/projects teams. - Good knowledge of Italian and English. Ideally, you will also have - 3/5 years applicable experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive). - Familiarity with quality concepts, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and IATF 16949 procedures. - Good knowledge of automotive core tools: FMEA, CP, SPC, PPAP/APQP, MSA, 8D, A3. - Continuous improvement and Lean techniques knowledge.
