TXT e-Tech is looking for a dynamic Project Engineer, to be included in the Aerospace & Aviation division. The Project Engineer is part of the Flight Simulator and Ground Station technical team. The candidate will be responsible of the technical execution of the program and is the point of contact for any technical specification and pre-design technical documentation, answering Customers’ technical questions and providing technical assistance references.
Main responsibilities:
Evaluation of technical pre-design documentation and requirements;
Risk evaluation and mitigation for project critical aspects;
Interface with both Customer and technical team to manage and monitor tasks and targets;
Management and production of manuals and reports;
On site monitoring and management;
Identification and providing of parts and equipment;
Technical evaluation of Supplier offers and specifications;
Interface with Client and PM to keep project on track respect to time schedule, budget and quality.
Technical skills required:
Knowledge of Software and Hardware solutions to design and maintain the products from a technical point of view and to produce the required technical documentation;
Knowledge of project processes to be aware of roles, tasks and procedures in order to ensure appropriate workflows;
Knowledge of project management procedures in order to evaluate availability and costs of specific tasks and services required;
Risk evaluation to carry out appropriate actions for mitigation the risks;
Monitoring to engage and maintain constant awareness of specific programs/activities;
Knowledge of MS Office package to produce technical documentation.
Optional technical skills:
Knowledge of software life cycle;
Knowledge of helicopter mechanical components, system architecture and aeronautical proficiency to work within the aeronautical field.
Education: Degree in Aerospace (preferred), Computer Science and Management Engineering (also welcomed).
Seniority:
Junior profile: should be an Aerospace/Aeronautical engineer;
Senior profile: should have relevant experience in Aerospace/Aeronautical field.
The ideal candidate has excellent communication and presentation skills to liaise with internal and external Customers/Supplier, excellent team work skills and orientation towards the common goal.
The profile is completed by excellent knowledge of English, ability to manage time and monitor activities and deadlines, aptitude for listening, flexibility and willingness to travel abroad for monitoring and meetings.
