Manages overall operations of the assigned shift including: warehouse, labor relations, production, site security, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. /p h3Ways you will make a difference /h3 ul liSupervise the execution of production and logistics plans through operators and other hourly labor in production and warehouse functions /li liParticipate in the development and implementation of plans and policies to ensure compliance in all areas of responsibility /li liOperate production lines in accordance with FDA guidelines, GMPs, and HACCP/SQF program guidelines /li liDirect and guide operators and their activities in execution of production and/or logistics plans (receiving, processing, mixing, baking, packaging, shipping, etc) /li liResponsible for shift change management and communication as well as daily production standards and labor reconciliation /liliDevelop employees to ensure compliance and achieve quality /li liResolve problems and mitigate operational issues that result in negative performance /li liSupport Lean Training as directed by Operations Manager /li liOwns regulatory compliance and food safety process, including: proper sanitary condition, allergen control, pest control, food safety policy, employee safety policies and procedures, and maintaining MCRS sustainability standards /li liParticipate in daily food review /li liSupport and execute relevant projects as needed /li /ul h3Skills that will make you successful /h3 ul liStrong verbal and written communication skills with employees including coaching and mentoring abilities /li liCommitment to safety and consistent leadership of safety procedures and culture /li liDemonstrated ability to manage complexity in a manufacturing environment /li liProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications /li liIndependent, self-sufficient with a strong sense of urgency /li liExperience in continuous improvement environments /li /ul h3Experiences that will support your success /h3 ul liBachelor’s Degree in a related field such as business or operations preferred /li liMinimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience /li liExperience working with SAP or ERP systems /li liStrong understanding of Good Manufacturing principles /li liProcess, packing, and mechanical experience strongly preferred /li liExperience managing people, with ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 pAt Ferrara, we’re proud to support our employees by providing comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, dental insurance, a 401(k), and paid time off (PTO).
