And that’s where you come in. /ppbAccountabilities /b /pulliSupport and coordination during the bid and project development of the technical design of system /liliDefinition of the conceptual solution of Equipment Integration on vehicles /liliPreparation of system requirements specification of a mechanical system /liliAnalysis of Suppliers' technical proposals /liliChecking the technical description of the system /liliVerification of drawings / documents (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.) for installation / integration on board /liliChecking of FEM analysis report /liliTolerance concept analysis for equipment integration /liliPreparation / verification of performance test specification /liliSupport during the on-board integration test /liliDesign review with Clients and Suppliers /li /ulpbRequired Skills / Knowledge /b /pulliDegree in Mechanical Engineering. /liliExperience of at least 3 years in the railway or mechanical industry with the role of Vehicle Engineer or mechanical industry with the role of mechanical integrator /liliGood knowledge of pneumatic scheme, hydraulic scheme, electrical scheme comprehension, bolted and riveted connections; /liliGood knowledge of bolted and riveted connections; /liliBasic knowledge of electrics and mechanics is required. /liliKnowledge of the main office automation software / tools (Word, Excel, etc.) /liliKnowledge of mechanical design software (Autocad, Creo, Catia, etc.) and the IBM DOORS requirements management tool. /liliKnowledge of Engineering Processes and Railway Operations. /liliAbility to work effectively with all levels of the organisation, with the attitude to contribute with constructive and practical ideas. /liliReadiness to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, multitasking international environment. /liliAbility to work autonomously in teams and for projects is required. /liliAvailability for short-term national and international business trip. /li /ulpbDesired Skills / Knowledge /b /pulliAbility to manage and plan the assigned tasks independently and team-working. /liliAbility to analyze business requirements, problem-solving attitude and business process analysis. /liliAbility to face with the different internal functions (internal customer) and external (suppliers, customers, partners). /liliPlanning and organization. /liliVersatile in learning and strong desire to remain up-to-date with changes in technology and best industry practices. /liliStrong business acumen technical skills. /liliGood communication and interpersonal skills. /liliAttitude to work in an international and multi-cultural reality. /li /ulpEducation / Qualifications /ppDegree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical background /ppLanguages /ppGood knowledge of written and spoken English is mandatory. /ppEnglish language knowledge on at least international B2 level /ppThank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
