Ph3What you will do /h3 pIn this role, you will work in the European Engineering Center (EEC) as an integral part of the BAS SW Team helping to build and release software for our commercial products. The EEC is an extension of the Global Controls product organization and is primarily focused on building and sustaining a market-winning portfolio of products for the European market. As a Embedded Linux Software Engineer, you will analyze, specify, design, and develop software for one of the many Johnson Controls solutions, including our flagship brand, Metasys. /p h3How you will do it /h3 ul liDesign and Implement Software for new and existing Building Automation Products and Solutions /li liInstall, Test, and Validate product enhancements and resolved defects /li liProvide support during Alpha and Field Trials within the system lab or on-site /li liCreate technical documentation and training material /li liBe the engineering contact and subject matter expert (SME) for the field support center when needed; provide training on new and upcoming products when required /li liCoordinate regular Executive project reviews and interface with all levels of leadership with regards to Planning, Scheduling, Organizing, Directing and Execution for their respective Program / Projects /li liWork closely with Product Management, Engineering and Supply Chain organizations to develop solutions /li liEstablish and maintain an effective system of communication throughout the other JCI Engineering centers, the Program Management Organization (PMO) and with Stakeholders /li liFollow all Health Safety and Environmental requirements /li liApply, execute and maintain function related quality issues complying with Global Design Process /li /ul h3What we look for /h3 ul liBachelor / Master degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science /li liProficency expertise in Windows and Linux OS /li liProficiency expertise in .NET, C#, JavaScript (React) for Desktop and Web application development. /li liTechnical knwledge in containerization (e.g. dokers) /li liTechnical knwledge in database design (MS SQL, PostgreSQL...) /li liSoft skills : analytical, problem-solving attitude, pro-active, flexible and 'open-minded' approach. /li liDev tools : Visual Code, Visual Studio, GitHub, Jenkins, Jira... /li liLocated in Milan or its surroundings /li liFluent in English and Italian languages (read, spoken, written) /li liFrom 2 up to 5 years of experience. /li /ul h3Location /h3 pCinisello Balsamo (Milan) /p h3What we offer /h3 pImagine a career that perpetually stretches your capabilities.
