Purpose of Position:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Credit Risk Manager to join our Account Receivable Team. Our highly detail-oriented Credit Risk Manager will supervise the process of accounts receivable transactions including: invoicing, cash application, account reconciliation, resolution of discrepancies and communication with customers. A main responsibility will be to manage the credit granting process and assessment of customer credit worthiness.
One of the first challenge will include to enhance ERP Infor M3 performance and ensure newly acquired companies’ integration.
The Credit Manager also, ensures all debts are collected on time and proactively coordinate with customers, sales and finance team to minimise credit risks. In parallel will supervises, manages and motivates the AR Team.
Description of main Activities /responsibilities: Design Credit Risk policy and procedure
Actively contribute to Infor M3 implementation
Enable ERP and processes integration for new Clients
Monitor and support generation and issuing of customer invoices and credit notes.
Handling & responding to customer queries for account statements, invoices, credit notes, etc.
Responsible for managing payment reminders.
Support team in A/R customer account reconciliations
Ensure timely & accurate month end/ year end AR closure
Make sure proper bad debt provisions are in place at month end.
Support in general accounting connected with AR activities.
Monitor and release orders from credit hold according to corporate credit policy and prepare house risk and past due analysis for management approval.
Ensure timely collection and insurance claim activities.
Support customer risk management by working with credit insurances.
Responsible for the maintenance of third-party credit tools.
In coordination with Finance department, prepare and share DSO calculation and analysis reporting.
Work closely with Sales and customers to resolve outstanding items.
Support with up-to-date data for the weekly / monthly cash flow forecasting.
Oversee responsibilities of AR Coordinators
Ensure the regular calendar of activities is timely executed & respected.
Define and deploy a strategy to implement & improve Working Capital focus on accelerate receivable collection.
Special projects and Ad Hoc reports & office administration tasks
Perform other related finance duties as assigned.
Administration & invoicing of Staff purchases
Professional and Personal skills: Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Professional Skills
Proven experience in accounts receivable management or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of account receivable principles, credit management, and collections.
Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with ERP implementation is highly desirable, with knowledge of SAP or other similar systems considered a plus.
Experiences
4 years + of related experience, preferably within multinational context
Language Skills
Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory
Other languages are preferrable
Computer Skills
MS Office, Excel, High Radius, M3+ DOCFINANCE (plus)
