POSITION INFORMATION
Datalogic Group is looking for a candidate joining the Corporate ICT Department.
The position will be member of the Business Demand & Applications team reporting directly to the Global Enterprise System Manager and will be based in Datalogic HQ in Lippo di Calderara (BO).
ROLE MISSION
The ICT Application Developer is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of the organization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance applications that drive business processes and innovation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Application Development:
1. Design, develop, and maintain software applications that align with business requirements
2. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using programming languages and frameworks.
3. Ensure the security and scalability of applications.
Requirements Analysis:
4. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand software requirements.
5. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and software design.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
6. Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and functionality.
7. Perform code reviews and participate in quality assurance processes.
Documentation:
8. Create and maintain technical documentation, including application architecture, code comments, and user manuals.
9. Document changes and updates to software applications.
Integration and Deployment:
10. Integrate applications with existing systems and third-party services.
Collaboration:
11. Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members.
Maintenance and Support:
12. Identify and resolve software defects and issues.
13. Provide ongoing support and updates for applications to ensure their continued functionality.
Stay Current:
14. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in software development.
15. Continuously improve coding skills and knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
Language: Fluent English; written and verbal communication
Experience: Proven experience of at least 1/2 years in software development, including designing, coding, testing, and debugging.
OTHER INFORMATION & SPECIFIC SKILLS
16. Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python), web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and development frameworks.
17. Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
18. Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
19. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software on-time.
20. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
21. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Relevant certifications, such as those specific to programming languages or development frameworks, can be considered as a plus
