Reporting to the Head of Purchasing Department (HoP), the position is located in Italy (Milan) and responsible for taking charge of the strategic change of the Purchasing Department in Italy and strategic purchases and cross-functional projects of the Market Cluster South (Spain, Portugal, Italy and Africa).
Be a key member of the organization, involved in several initiatives and activities, including the following:
Identify and develop strategic suppliers in Italy (evaluation, review, regular meetings with key suppliers);
Define framework agreements and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors;
Lead strategic projects of the Market Cluster South in Italy;
Reporting of KPIs linked to purchasing activity;
Compliance with the Purchasing Standard and Subcontractor Standard;
Implementation of Jaggaer in the Purchasing to Pay (P2P) Process in Italy.
The candidate must have:
Min. 3 years of professional experience in an international and well-structured corporates
Professional experience in purchasing departments, and in managing contract and subcontracrs (plus)
Degree in Engineering, or Economics; other profiles will be considered
Specialized, deep, and updated knowledge in their area of responsibility
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
Exceptional analytical ability, conceptual thinking skills and attention to details
Pro-active, result and customer-oriented, and hands-on way of working
Attitude based on change driving and teamworking
Negotiation skills
Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Excellent computer skills – especially Excel and PowerPoint
