Job Description SummaryThe Aero Alliance Process Engineer is responsible for developing, validating, industrializing and supporting LM component repairs in Aero Alliance JV shops.Process engineer will execute repair process development as well as introduction of new technologies and equipment in AAJV shopProcess engineer will lead the continuous improvement of component repairs in capacity, capability and productivity for AAJV shop network.Process engineer will be instrumental for the full transition of the Aero Alliance JV to a vertically integrated service companyJob DescriptionSupport L5 industrialization cooperating with program managers and repair engineers, including tech spec definition, work instruction emission, repair document analysis for the proper asset selection Processes qualification e industrialization of L5 repairs across the shop network, according to the shop quality requirements, to the existing RDs and Manuals. Approve repair routings and technical documentation to drive standardization, manage issuing and updating of Repair instructionsAssure engagement with Engineering repair experts in all phases of the industrializationFollow official qualification process as aero repair development engineer, support and dispose non-conformity or service requestSupport both the execution of repair processes in AAJV shops and the requests of departure for the existing ones, by interacting with the broader engineering teamManage and support the update of Repair documentation (RD and IRMs), driving the reviewing and releasing processes provide technical leadership for development, substantiation, and standardization of repair processesIdentify opportunities for repair productivity enhancements, cost reduction and new processes development. Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments.
