Dolce & Gabbana, a leader in the world of luxury fashion, for its new in-house Beauty Division has an exceptional career opportunity available fora Store Merchandising Sourcing Manager based in our HQ in Milan reporting to the Global Head of Sourcing.
The Resource is responsible for scouting, contractualization, project technical-evaluation, pricing confrontation, negotiation and installation supervision of all Brand’s Merchandising premium in-store temporary and permanent merchandising furniture elements, to achieve the best cost/quality ratio in support to Marketing roll-out plans, on EMEA area.
In particular the new Resources will:
* Monitor the reference market to scout for new potential supply sources and be the leading guide of their evaluation and onboarding process
* Negotiate and renovate Commercial Agreements with reference category’s suppliers
* Lead the tenders for new installation-projects, in response of Marketing and Go-To-Market plans. Negotiate the best conditions in terms of materials and technical aspects to optimize costs and timing for furniture and in-store setups, ensuring the Brand’s premiumness perception
* Monitor and strategically intervene on spending-trend of reference Category suppliers, to ensure their most sustainable and mutually convenient growth
* Keep a constant eye on category portfolio’s best balance in terms of production capacities and suppliers’ potentials and specialties, to ensure the involvement of the best players
* Supervise on-site projects and setups
* Cooperate with APAC and AMERICAs counterparts
* Cooperate and support Marketing team which will brief the creativity requirements
* Be the internal key point of contact with Design Agencies involved in new development in-store
On top of the EMEA region responsibility, the resource will also support the global merchandising team on globally produced temporary materials. Plus, during the first year of the assignment, the resource will also partner with the Global Merchandising team, in order to follow the industrialization process of the new PM in store concept and to identify areas of cost optimizations from a design and material standpoint.
Requirements
* Degree in Architecture, Industrial Design or equivalent
* Previous experience (at least 5 years) in development of complex in-store Merchandising and decoration setups, dealing with either European and Asian Suppliers.
* Previous experience in BEAUTY is considered a plus.
* Good use of technical-drawing softwares such as AutoCAD, Rhinoceros
* Good use of Adobe Illustrator
* Good use of whole Office software bundle (Excel especially)
* Very fluent in written and spoken English
