Your Role
Capgemini Engineering is looking for a resource to join as a Process Safety Expert. Our company is the undisputed global leader in the Engineering and R&D services sector and supports our clients in projects that contribute to making our future more digital, innovative, and sustainable! The ideal resource will operate within the Manufacturing & Operation practice, working across market sectors to support major national and global players in designing and developing products and components. This will involve leveraging multidisciplinary capabilities and introducing new methods and tools. Innovation is the guiding principle that inspired Capgemini Engineering and gives meaning to everything we do. The ideal resource will engage in the following activities:
Risk analysis and reliability in the industrial sector (plants/projects in the Oil & Gas/Chemical/Energy sectors), with specific reference to activities related to Seveso directive compliance, QRA, FERA.
Classification of explosion risk areas (ATEX).
SIL analysis in accordance with IEC 61508/61511 functional safety standards and HAZOP analysis (PHA), acting as a HAZOP/SIL Leader.
Your Profile
Our ideal candidate holds a master's degree in Chemical/Energetic/Nuclear Engineering and has 5 to 8 years of professional experience. The candidate must have the following requirements:
Experience in Process Safety and Functional Safety (particularly as a HAZOP/SIL Leader) preferably in Oil & Gas and Chemical companies, both in consulting and design firms.
Good knowledge of the English language.
Knowledge of computer applications, such as software for modeling incidental scenarios and tools for reliability analysis.
Ability to interact with clients and manage work teams.
