Description
We are looking for a Junior Accountant Part Time (Fragile Workers according to Law 68/99)
The Accounting Officer will perform the following tasks:
- Accounts Receivable: active invoicing (including electronic invoicing), recording customer payments, and managing customer accounts
- Accounts Payable: recording incoming invoices, managing the payment schedule, processing supplier payments, and managing supplier accounts
- Bank Accounting: preparing collections, payments, and fund transfers
- General Accounting: reconciliation of accounts, compensations, accruals and deferrals, withholdings, and cash journal entries
- Fixed Asset Accounting
- Accounting Support for Foreign Branches
- Assistance in Preparing the Financial Statements
- Assistance in Preparing Tax Provisions, Direct and Indirect Tax Returns, and Fiscal Reporting
-Support in Preparing Budgets/Plans and Related Revisions
- Assistance in Preparing Documentation for Auditors and Board of Directors Meetings
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Chartered Accountant qualification or similar.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
3. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping and reporting.
4. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze financial data and trends.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with different departments and external stakeholders.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
7. Solid understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations.
8. Fluency in English and Italian, both written and oral
9. Flexible - Part Time minimum 24 hours – more hours depending on experience
We offer a fixed term contract for the first year – possibility of permanent contract offered based on performances
