Scope of the Role
The Aftersales Engineer is responsible for ensuring the technical compliance of spare parts and service projects, serving as the primary technical interface with customers. The role involves managing technical challenges, providing support during site and field operations, troubleshooting, conducting root cause analyses, and maintaining project success and the company's reputation.
Responsibilities and Main Tasks
* Technical Support: Provide guidance to customers during installation, commissioning, and operation, resolving inquiries related to product performance and maintenance.
* Project Team: Ensure technical completeness and compliance for spare parts and site services, adhering to project specifications and quality standards.
* Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis: Lead troubleshooting efforts, analyze failures, and recommend solutions to minimize downtime.
* Client Liaison: Manage customer expectations and ensure technical standards are met.
* Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports, investigations, and service records, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to address product defects and quality concerns.
* Training and Knowledge Sharing: Educate clients on product use, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
* Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback for product and service enhancements.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Preferably with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
