We are seeking a Head Sommelier to lead our wine program for the upcoming season.ResponsibilitiesAnticipate guests’ needs and handle guest complaints, providing an excellent and personalized guest experience according to our service standardsCooperate with the Restaurant Manager for staff developmentDevelop special events focused on wineManage inventory and requisitions: assist in monitoring stock levels and ordering replacement deliveriesAvoid waste and control beverage marginsWork with the bar manager to establish the wine selectionEnsure compliance with health and safety regulationsFully responsible for banqueting wine orders and consumptionQualificationsMinimum of 3 years experience in the same role within the luxury hotel industryExperience in a fine dining restaurant (Michelin recognition is a plus)Fluent in English and Italian; a third language preferredSommelier AIS or FISAR certificationHe or she will report to the Restaurant Manager.
