~ As the Technical Sales Manager / Sales Engineer you will be responsible for:
\n
Developing relationships with both OEMs (automation machine manufacturers) in Italy and End Users (FMCG manufacturing businesses) in the Middle East and Africa.
\n
Travelling within Italy, Africa and the Middle East with an expectation of spending 30% of your time away from home.
\n
Developing business with new customers (20%) and new projects with existing customers (80%)
\n
Selling in at Project Engineer, Director, Procurement Manager, Operations Manager, Engineering Manager and Engineer level.
\n
Securing specifications on new and existing projects, with a typical sales cycle from 6 months to 2 years.
\n
Understanding customer project challenges and providing guidance and input on the best proposed solution.
\n
Handling both technical and commercial enquiries from your customer base. (factory automation, robots & cobots, conveyors, production equipment, end of line packaging, or affiliated., An engineering education would be highly advantageous but not essential, as would proven success operating in international sales.

Advanced level Italian and English language skills required. Arabic and French languages would be advantageous.
\n
Self-motivation and comfortable with project-based selling.
\n
