TASI Turin is looking for a Project Manager to work in Torino inside the DESI Operation Unit.
The candidate will operate within the directorate of program managers for LEO and/or first Lunar elements during the operational phase, coordinating the full project team and interfacing with Agencies and Customers. The role requires strong communication skills, decision-making ability, assertiveness, and an innovative approach to problem-solving. Teamwork and attention to schedule, financial aspects (revenues and cash flow), and building new work opportunities with customers through trust, reliability, and proactivity are essential.
As a Project Manager with at least 5 years of experience in manned systems and human spaceflight, the candidate will engage in all aspects of project management lifecycle activities. The role involves managing complex, high-profile projects within the LEO programs directorate.
We seek candidates with extensive experience in managing large-scale, complex projects, and risk management, capable of developing effective business strategies. Proven skills include developing detailed project plans, ensuring on-time deliverables, coordinating resources effectively, and providing leadership and operational guidance to support business strategies.
Key duties include:
1. Coordinate the project team across all aspects of work.
2. Manage customer interfaces, building trust and communication.
3. Manage the project budget, including cost and schedule control.
4. Oversee project actions from Monthly Program Reviews.
5. Support resource adequacy and intra-Domain mobility.
6. Manage program resources according to the commercial scenario.
7. Handle bids/changes and stakeholder engagement across domains.
8. Coordinate team efforts during crises to develop recovery plans.
9. Control CBB/EAC and cash flow with Finance.
10. Manage Risks & Opportunities.
11. Prepare Monthly Progress Reports and internal dashboards.
