Inside Sales Engineer
Join IMI, a leading manufacturer in industrial machinery manufacturing. The Inside Sales Engineer is responsible for generating, revising, and sending the final version of a technical and commercial accurate quotation to the customer based on its requirements. The offer shall comply with the IMI‑CCI Sales and Marketing Guidelines and the cost & delivery time baseline or agreed exceptions.
Key Responsibilities
* Connect with customers, outside sales and internal/external suppliers.
* Review customer specifications, terms and conditions and involve appropriate departments to release a precise and effective proposal.
* Send RFQ to selected vendors.
* Compare proposals from different suppliers and match technical, commercial and delivery requirements.
* Run Sales Force SFDC process.
* Calculate project net costs and maximize sales gross margin.
* Review customer purchase order against the latest offer and resolve deviations.
* Compile the Customer Order Review Board Package (CORB) and provide it to the manager.
Requirements
* 10+ years experience in system integration, 5 years in HIPPS application as Proposal Manager & Cost Estimator.
* Strong mechanical technical background in system integration gained in EPCs or fabrication companies.
* Industrial automation experience is a nice to have.
* Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
* Ability to work independently and autonomously.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and CRM skills.
* Ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Interest in working in an international environment.
