The material planners responsibilities are to order create and maintain delivery schedules coordinating with plant teams and managing external stakeholder relations. /li liProviding site consolidated forecast to the relevant raw material category managers /li liSupport the strategic objectives by balancing the contracts volumes assignment among the preferred suppliers and reporting them to category management. /li liPerforming transactional procurement activities /li liManaging transactional procurement tasks and activities in the Procure to Pay (P2P) process area. /li liExecute the Group procurement policies. /li liEnsuring activities are performed according to agreed controls and processes. /li liSupport the incoming good department with a special attention to waste management /li /ul h3Main responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure that the Purchase orders are placed with reference to the contract when applies. /li /ul h3PRICE AND CONDITION MANAGEMENT (material planning) /h3 ul liEnsure that the Purchase orders are placed with reference to the contract when applies. /li /ul h3MASTER DATA /h3 ul liGather information and enter the request for vendor creation in the tool and follow up creation /li liUpdate material information for Purchasing and general information. /li /ul h3P2P /h3 ul liDirect and indirect material PO management to reflect supplier delivery schedule in the system. /li liProcess and transform Purchase Requisitions (PRs) into Purchase orders (POs). Creates PO reflecting the business needs and negotiations. /li liActs as 1st line of contact for P2P related inquiries issues and transactions for indirect categories. Managing purchasing document changes and cancellations handling returns /li liAct as 1st line of contact for invoice 3-way matching error handling. /li liArchiving of the signed contracts in ARIBA S2C. /li /ul h3MATERIAL PLANNING /h3 ul liCalculate raw material volume requirements for annual budget based on the sales team input and communicate this volume to Global Direct Category Manager /li liManage the supply of materials according to the manufacturing schedule and stock levels (MRP); monitor raw materials supply schedule and manage the raw materials flow; managing inventory issues schedule changes and cancellations. /li liCollaborate with logistic team to manage the supply of materials according to the site logistics constraints /li /ul h3PROCESSES SUPPORT /h3 ul liSuggest methods to update simplify and enhance processes procedures and tools /li /ul h3PROCUREMENT STRATEGY SUPPORT /h3 ul liIdentify spend not driven through preferred suppliers / Spot by alignment with the category management. /li liSupport the strategic objectives by balancing the contracts volumes assignment among the preferred suppliers and reporting them to category management. /li /ul h3PERFORMANCE EVALUATION /h3 ul liManage supplier claims as well as supplier evaluations of plant according to Ahlstrom tools and procedures for Direct Materials. /li liTrack each supplier raw material delivery service. /li /ul h3SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT /h3 ul liBe the first point of contact for the supplier customer service. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 p(minimum level of knowledge and skills to fulfill ones responsibilities) /p ul liMin 2 years of experience in material planning and / or procurement /li liProven experience in supplier relationship management /li liProven experience in driving and executing tasks and activities in P2P /li liBachelors degree in economics /li /ul h3Required competencies /h3 ul liOwnership mindset with strong working ethic and ability comply with policies and processes. /li liCustomer service focus and excellent interpersonal skills /li liCritical thinking good problem-solving and analytical skills /li liAbility to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines /li liCollaborative and a true team player s upporting initiatives in a proactive manner to improve own and teamwork practices /li liWillingness and ability to challenge own and others beliefs and thinking in a constructive manner /li liAttention to details but capability to see the big picture as well /li liGood IT skills including knowledge of SAP /li liFluent in English and local language. /li /ul h3Additional competencies / Other requirements /h3 ul liRequires travelling to supplier meetings sites in the same region and team meetings. /li liValid driving license /li /ul pAhlstrom is a global leader in combining fibers into sustainable specialty materials.
