Technical Sales Manager
The Technical Sales Manager leads the Technical Sales Team and supports Sales with technical expertise.
Achieve and maintain NPS Score to a Best in Class level
Role Purpose
1. Management of the technical support team by nurturing a pro-active approach and accountable mindset.
2. Ensure the "customer first" mentality in the team through email and phone availability to support internal/external customers.
3. Monitoring of cross-reference activities and performances.
4. Commercial support to specialists involved in the development of customized solutions.
5. Team alignment according to the objectives / KPIs
6. Coaching and further development of employees
Responsabilities
7. Identify business opportunities on assigned customers
8. Identify customer needs by actively listening to their needs
9. Develop strategic relationships with customers
10. Prepare customized development plans for customers
11. Building a professional and proactive relationship with customers, maintaining it over time
12. Maintain up-to-date customer data in the CRM in the company database to better position our offer and our services according to the type of customer
13. Propose customized solutions to create business and projects (industrial, e-commerce.)
14. Study, understand and use the RS value proposition and internal processes
15. Ensure optimal productivity, through good planning and collaboration with Internal Sales function
16. Interact with other internal functions, to offer the best solution
17. Periodically align customer and supplier goals
18. Participate in communication initiatives and events i.e. Fairs, Exhibitions, Campaigns and special Events
19. Become the point of reference for assigned customers, representing the quality standards of RS
Requirements
20. Proven experience in a Technical Sales or Sales Management role, preferably in B2B or industrial/electronics sectors
21. Strong leadership skills with experience in team management, coaching, and performance alignment
22. Solid commercial acumen and ability to translate customer needs into tailored technical solutions
23. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and customer-centric mindset
24. Ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships with key customers over time
25. Building a professional and proactive relationship with customers, maintaining it over time
26. Familiarity with CRM systems and maintaining accurate and updated customer records
27. Strong planning and organizational skills to ensure productivity and cross-functional collaboration
28. Good understanding of value-based selling and internal sales processes
29. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
30. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP or similar systems is appreciated
