The Role As Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional bakery and pastry offerings across our private residences. Working closely with the Executive Chef and wider culinary team, you will produce premium breads, pastries, viennoiserie, desserts, and fine filo pastry items to the highest luxury hospitality standards. This role requires discipline, precision, and a strong understanding of both European pastry excellence and refined Japanese presentation. You will help create memorable culinary moments throughout the guest journey while maintaining consistency, elegance, and exceptional product quality. As part of the broader kitchen team, you will also support other culinary operations when required, contributing to service across breakfast, in-residence dining, special events, and guest experiences beyond the pastry section. What We’re Looking For - Strong professional experience in patisserie, artisan breads, desserts, and pastry production - Experience in Michelin-starred restaurants, luxury hotels, premium bakeries, or fine dining pastry kitchens - Strong technical skills in viennoiserie, laminated doughs, artisan bread production, plated desserts, and fine filo pastry - Excellent understanding of premium ingredients, presentation, and consistency - Experience working with seasonal products and bespoke guest requests - Willingness to support wider kitchen operations and work collaboratively across all culinary functions - High level of discipline, organisation, and attention to detail - Professional, calm, and team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic - Candidates must hold valid working rights in Japan.
