We are looking for a Software Integration Testing Engineer to support the validation of AUTOSAR-based ECU software for a major OEM. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing integration tests, validating interfaces across software layers, analyzing defects, and supporting automation and compliance activities in an ASPICE-driven environment. The position requires strong experience in embedded software testing, AUTOSAR architecture, and integration validation on ECU level.Responsibilities
Develop and execute integration test plans for AUTOSAR-based ECUs, including Classic and Adaptive Platform environmentsPerform functional and interface-level testing between BSW modules, SWCs, and MCALConfigure and validate RTE and ECU Extract using tools such as Vector DaVinci Configurator and DeveloperAnalyze integration test results, identify root causes of issues, and work closely with development teams to resolve defectsMaintain and execute automated test activities using Python and CAPL in CANoe or other HIL/simulation environmentsEnsure traceability between test cases, software architecture, and requirements in line with SWE.1 and SWE.2Support CI/CD pipelines for software integration testing using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CIContribute to ASPICE-compliant documentation and support SWE.5 process audit activities
Qualifications
Experience in software integration testing within embedded automotive environmentsGood knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture, including BSW, SWCs, MCAL, RTE, and ECU ExtractHands‐on experience with Vector DaVinci Configurator/DeveloperExperience with test automation using Python and/or CAPLPractical knowledge of CANoe, HIL, or simulation-based test platformsUnderstanding of defect analysis and root cause investigation in embedded softwareFamiliarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CIGood understanding of ASPICE processes, especially SWE.1, SWE.2, and SWE.5
