The role involves performing a wide range of tasks from statistical analysis of maintenance data flow to deep train knowledge. /p h3Who We Are /h3pHitachi Rail is a global provider of rail solutions across rolling stock, signalling, service maintenance, digital technology, and turnkey projects, with a presence in 38 countries and over 13,000 employees. /p h3Accountabilities /h3ul liEnsure RAM data collection in vehicle service operations, defining data structures according to contractual requirements. /li liSupport vehicle management and configuration control, ensuring traceability and updating maintained configurations. /li liManage infrastructure systems (e.g., MRX, PanMon) to support condition-based maintenance and integrate with SAP and Virdict systems. /li liProvide performance analysis and improvement recommendations. /li liSupport SM Bid Proposal activities, including budgeting. /li liUpdate spare parts lists based on maintenance plans and RAM analyses. /li liConduct Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) for cost-effective maintenance strategies. /li liAssist in troubleshooting and managing maintenance activities, analyzing technical issues. /li liPrepare technical specifications for depot tools, coordinate with suppliers, and oversee installation and testing. /li liProvide training to depot maintainers. /li liPerform failure analysis for warranty issues, validate maintenance manuals and diagnostic messages. /li liReport maintenance and safety defects, operational events, and failures. /li liPresent operational data (RAM data) to customers. /li liImplement maintenance plans at depots and external sites, from commissioning onward. /li liSupport project activities through field analyses, including developing procedures and optimizing maintenance practices. /li liSupport procurement and quality control activities related to maintenance. /li /ul h3Required Skills/Knowledge /h3ul liExperience in maintenance engineering for railway vehicles, with at least 2 years in the sector. /li liBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, or Systems Engineering. /li liAbility to analyze vehicle systems, interpret specifications, and read schematics. /li liWillingness to travel frequently (over 60%). /li /ul h3Desired Skills/Knowledge /h3ul liExperience in railway fleet maintenance, subsystem knowledge, software management, and troubleshooting. /li liKnowledge of railway operations and signaling principles. /li liSkills in planning, organization, and data analysis. /li /ul h3Education / Qualifications /h3pElectrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or System Engineering qualifications or equivalent technical background. /p h3Languages /h3pProficiency in English. /p pWe thank all applicants; only those selected will be contacted.
