The role of Global Account Manager is a strategic position that requires the ability to develop business strategies across regions to drive profitable growth and increase sales performance.
To be successful, you will need to effectively communicate with customers to negotiate the company offering and competently position Future's value add. This will involve developing global strategy and implementing site tactics in conjunction with branch personnel.
You will work closely with customers' senior management to understand their needs and challenges and help formulate strategies to position Future for growth. You will also present Future's value proposition by providing customers with our Value-Added Solutions and Corporate Initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include driving key supplier initiatives outlined by marketing at each customer site and ensuring corporate supplier commitments are achieved. You will also provide a high level of service by being responsive to customer queries as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have commercially astute and resilient experience within the electronic distribution business, ideally with a technical or business background. They will possess excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, and be highly organised and accurate.
