Join us and be part of the expert team that’s improving lives through greater connectivity! Molex in Europe is looking for an Account Manager, based in Milano, reporting to the regional team. The Account Manager will be responsible for several key customers in Italy, reporting to the country manager. Key customers include those developing innovative products in areas like Mobility, Energy Management, Consumer, and A&D. As a preferred supplier, we aim to strengthen our long-term partnerships through co-innovation and collaboration. This individual will identify growth opportunities aligned with roadmap initiatives, establish and maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is passionate about technology and innovation, eager to learn, and enjoys working in an international environment. What You Will Do In Your Role Drive profitable business growth year over year in line with corporate objectives. Build and maintain long-term relationships; ensure continuous customer engagement; facilitate frequent interactions to understand and represent the Voice of the Customer (VoC), especially with key R&D sites in Italy. Provide VoC insights to Business Units to focus on growth opportunities; collaborate proactively with Molex Product Managers and Business Development Teams. Develop a business plan for assigned customers to meet sales forecasts annually. Leverage existing networks and develop new relationships with key customers to present suitable Molex proposals. Create strong demand-generation activities to ensure continuous account growth, measurable by Sales Force performance against targets. Provide timely, accurate, and clear reports. Gather marketing intelligence on competitor activity and market trends as needed. Participate in sales meetings, exhibitions, and training courses. The Experience You Will Bring Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field. Experience in sales, field application engineering, or product/project management. Strong interpersonal skills for relationship building and networking. Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation abilities. Based in the Milano area. Fluent in English and Italian. Willingness to travel frequently. What Will Put You Ahead Experience in the electronics industry and/or manufacturing sector. Experience using SAP and Salesforce. Additional language skills.
