Requirements Experience working with Microsoft Windows Administrator, Server Administrator, and Asset Management. Must possess a Security Certification. Must be a U.S. citizen. Personnel Clearance Level: Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher. Education Requirements (Must possess one of the following): High School diploma or GED at minimum with 8 years of specialized experience in Information Technology. Associate degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology with 6 years of specialized experience. Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology with 4 years of specialized experience. Essential Job Duties: Install and configure software and hardware to include desktops, laptops, and operating systems. Manage networks, user accounts, and troubleshooting. Asset management: Tech refresh / life cycle of equipment / inventory / RDT (DRMO). Control and manage network IP address space, Domain Name System, Network Directory, and messaging services. Design effective communication plans to publicize unit program requirements, associated policies, and procedures. Support 7 Reconnaissance Squadron and tenant units with IT solutions for support when necessary. Troubleshoot hardware/software issues related to AFNet operations (ex. SIPR, NIPR, VOSIP, VOIP, mIRC Chat, HAIPE devices). Follow all Air Force policies/guidance and contact 31 CS/Wing Cyberspace Office for addition guidance. Serve as a unit liaison to the military and civilian personnel offices. Provide accurate and factual information to the commander(s)/director(s), key staff, and customers. Establish controls and suspense dates and follow up to ensure that required actions and responses are made within deadlines. Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually.
