As an Electrical Application Engineer, you will play a vital role in creating technical solutions that fulfill the needs of our customers. You\'ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide product/scope guidance for new requisitions. You will lead the preparation, management and negotiation of BH technical proposal relevant to Electrical components and systems.
As an Electrical Application Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
* Managing preparation and negotiation of BH technical proposal, being responsible for the estimation of the budget associated with the proposed solution
* Leading the definition of the technical strategy of the project thus influencing customer towards BH solutions
* Preparing the best technical proposal at first submission using bidding tools and implementing, where appropriate, innovative technology
* Leading the technical negotiation, coordinating with supporting functions and attending to meeting/presentation with customer
* Applying product and quality policies, addressing and mitigating any risks as per BH procedures
Qualifications
* Have a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
* Demonstrate exceptional verbal and non-verbal communication skills for preparing proposals, conducting meetings, answering sales/customer questions and writing/explaining technical aspects
* Have a basic market/technical knowledge of rotating electrical machines (i.e. MV-HV motors and generators) and related auxiliary systems
* Be able to interpret customer economics, process and technical specifications and to translate them into competitive technical offering.
* Demonstrate ability to analyze and resolve problems and to lead programs / projects.
* Be fluent in English (oral and written) and have excellent all-round communication skills
* Have very good interpersonal and leadership skills, inclusive team working style and able to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers.
* Be available to travel both to regional and international locations to work with customers on site
