Job Details As an European Key Account & Strategic Development Manager, you will work under general direction at the European level on both organic and inorganic growth, aligned with JCH strategy: What Will You Do Develop long-term customer relationships with assigned and new large pan-European accounts such as distribution groups, installers, FM companies, developers, and centralized accounts. Seek to make Johnson Controls-Hitachi the preferred HVAC equipment supplier in targeted accounts. Scan the European market landscape for potential downstream acquisitions to support the inorganic growth strategy across the EU. Assess opportunities based on relevancy, impact, and feasibility. Seek long-term partnerships to grow the Hitachi brand presence in the indirect channel. How you will do it Responsible for account management strategy and execution for strategic pan-European accounts. Develop sales and marketing plans for these accounts. Define framework agreements to drive growth, establishing and maintaining C-level relationships. Target new customers based on account prioritization and market strategies. Build partnerships with assigned accounts to penetrate the HVAC product offering. Maintain frequent face-to-face contact with influential customers. Listen actively, identify concerns, address issues, and develop credibility, loyalty, trust, and commitment. Liaise with local sales teams to promote Johnson Controls-Hitachi products. Develop relationships with local sales organizations to exceed customer expectations. Own and facilitate customer relationships. Lead projects with colleagues based on account assignments. Keep management informed of progress and account status. Leverage management support where appropriate. Use sales tools effectively to plan, document progress, and increase account penetration. Identify potential acquisitions for inorganic growth through multiple contacts and sources. Assess acquisition opportunities for business impact, fit, and feasibility. Coordinate with management and internal departments to advance promising acquisition opportunities. What we are looking for Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of experience in key account management or M&A strategy. Solid knowledge of the HVAC market. Ability to influence the market at key levels and strong account management skills. Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills. Strategic agility. Strong interpersonal, oral, written communication, and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively in teams. Fluency in English and at least one other major European language.
