THIS IS A SHIPBOARD POSITION
The Sommelier delivers a refined, personalized, genuine, and consistent wine experience across all restaurants and beverage venues onboard. This role upholds Silversea F&B Core Service Standards and Silversea Way service principles, providing expert wine guidance, technical precision, and proactive guest engagement.
With elevated responsibility due to a more streamlined Sommelier structure, the Sommelier supports the full wine service cycle - from cellar maintenance to service execution - ensuring impeccable wine quality, accurate pairings, and full readiness for peak service periods. The role also supports wine training, contributes to beverage revenue, and plays a key part in achieving guest satisfaction and operational excellence under the guidance of the Head Sommelier.
WSET Level 2 is highly preferrable for this position.
