Prime Video is a first‐stop entertainment destination offering customers a vast collection of premium programming in one app available across thousands of devices. Prime members can customize their viewing experience and find their favorite movies, series, documentaries, and live sports – including Amazon MGM Studios‐produced series and movies, licensed fan favorites, and programming from Prime Video add‐on subscriptions such as Apple TV+, Max, Crunchyroll and MGM+. All customers, regardless of whether they have a Prime membership or not, can rent or buy titles via the Prime Video Store, and can enjoy even more content for free with ads.
As a Prime Video technologist, you'll have end‐to‐end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver state‐of‐the‐art experiences for our customers. You'll work on fast‐paced, challenging, and varied projects, experiment with new possibilities, take risks, and collaborate with remarkable people.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for science‐based products and cross‐functional AI/ML initiatives for the digital supply chain.
- Collaborate with applied/data science teams to translate business problems into model requirements, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with product goals.
- Work closely with science, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to prioritize features and experiments.
- Own the full product lifecycle: from data acquisition, model development, experimentation, evaluation, deployment, and continuous monitoring.
- Evangelize model‐driven decision‐making across partner teams; help establish adoption mechanisms.

The team is responsible for the end‐to‐end digital video supply chain that powers Prime Video. Our vision is to build the most efficient, flexible, innovative, and highly performant digital content supply chain in the world—the backbone of Prime Video's delightful customer experience, and the backbone for content creators to reach familiar and new audiences, tell new kinds of stories, and inspire them to think differently.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of technical product or program management experience.
- 2+ years of end‐to‐end product delivery experience.
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
- Experience owning or driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience with feature delivery and trade‐offs of a product.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Background in applied science or engineering, with solid understanding of model lifecycle, data readiness, and model evaluation frameworks; proven experience shipping data product or ML‐based solutions at scale.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement.
- Experience driving adoption of new and disruptive technologies.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $179,900.00 – $243,400.00 USD annually (US locations in Culver City, CA or Seattle, WA). The total package includes sign‐on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
