Location : Milano HQ office, with work from home possibilities, in between travel, as long as a reasonable commuting distance to our office. The Sales Manager will be responsible to achieve maximum profitable growth & sales objectives in line with Sibelco’s vision and strategic objectives in all northern Italy. Responsibilities Being accountable for the sales of Sibelco group products and achieving maximum profitable growth and sales objectives (volume, Net Sales, and Gross Margin) in line with Sibelco’s vision, strategic objectives & policies in Northern Italy. Visiting customers and potential customers, identifying new sales opportunities to achieve the highest value, commercialize new products and develop sales into new applications. Building up the necessary market intelligence by developing a thorough understanding of the market, including customer needs, competitors, trends, impact of local legislation to retain and extend the Customer portfolio. Develop and achieve budgeted sales targets year after year. Set prices and payment terms in line with Sibelco’s pricing and payment structures for the region and achieve the end financial targets, receivables as well as payment terms. Partner together with Operations & Supply Chain with on time information to schedule the activities for the short / medium / long term period. About you / Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Business or Marketing 8-10 years’ experience in sales role, ideally in mineral industry or related industry Proven track record of gaining and maintaining lasting customer relationships Experience selling a technical product portfolio is an advantage Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Creative self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities & work independently as well as contribute to the broader team Self-drive : High-energy, creative & resourceful self-starter a pragmatic problem solver Results-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong sense of accountability as well commitment Full proficiency in Italian as well as English Please submit your application in English and include your CV when you apply on our Careers page.
