PbWhat You Will Do /b /ppThe Business Development Manager is a pivotal role reporting directly to the Territory Sales Director Iberia and Italy, with a dotted line to the National Sales Manager in Italy. Based in Italy, you will collaborate closely with the local Fire Suppression team to achieve business objectives by driving demand from the specification stage of relevant projects. /ppYour primary objective is to create market demand and build strategic customer relationships by identifying new opportunities, defining vertical markets, and developing tailored solutions for high-profile customers such as end users, consultants, contractors, and AE firms. You will focus on promoting the adoption of Fire Suppression products across the Italian market by engaging with stakeholders at all levels and fostering long-term partnerships. /ppYou will expand brand presence and awareness within the territory by delivering high-quality technical presentations, seminars, and demonstrations to consultants, developers, and end users. You will recommend viable solutions for project-specific requirements, leveraging your strong technical expertise to address customer challenges effectively. /ppThis role offers a dynamic and collaborative environment where you can drive demand creation, develop new business opportunities, and contribute to Johnson Controls’ strategic objectives. /ppbKey Objectives /b /ppThe key objectives are to drive demand creation and business development activities for Fire Suppression products in Italy. You will develop and execute strategies to generate market demand during the specification stage of projects and across vertical markets. By identifying and pursuing new opportunities, you will expand Johnson Controls’ market share while building strong, long-term relationships with high-profile customers such as end users, consultants, contractors, and AE firms. Additionally, you will enhance brand awareness through technical seminars, product demonstrations, and strategic marketing initiatives, proposing innovative, technically sound solutions that address customer needs and align with Johnson Controls’ product strategies. /ppbHow You Will Do It /b /ppbAs a Business Development Manager, you will : /b /pulliUtilize your technical expertise in Fire Suppression systems to support consultants, developers, and end users in designing and specifying solutions. /liliCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including RD, Training, Product Management, and Technical Support, to ensure proposals align with customer needs and company strategies. /liliDevelop and deploy design, technical, and marketing tools to educate customers on existing and new products. /liliActively prospect for new business opportunities and identify decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations. /liliDeliver technical presentations and demonstrations to effectively communicate product value and secure specifications. /liliWork independently to drive territory growth while collaborating with internal teams to achieve collective goals. /li /ulpbWhat We Are Looking For /b /ppbRequired Skills and Experience /b /pulliMinimum 10 years of sales or business development experience in Fire Suppression products. /liliProven expertise in fire suppression system design and strong technical knowledge of leading Fire Suppression brands. /liliExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. /liliDemonstrated success in securing product specifications from end users, consultants, and installers. /liliExperience in strategic planning, marketing, and market research to identify new opportunities and vertical markets. /liliAdvanced prospecting skills with the ability to identify key stakeholders and decision-makers. /liliA proactive, self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally. /liliStrong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. /liliFlexible and willing to travel across Italy. /liliA team-player mindset with unquestionable integrity and ethics. /liliA results-driven, innovative problem solver with a "can-do" attitude. /li /ulpbOur benefits /b /ppWe offer an exciting and challenging position with great personal freedom and professional responsibility.
