Role Overview:

The Sales Manager Europe will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of key accounts in Italy and across Europe, with the objective of driving sustainable business growth and strengthening long-term customer partnerships. Working in close collaboration with the Head of Sales Europe, the role will focus on two main product categories: Juice & Fruit and Flavors & Extracts, with a particular emphasis on the proactive development of the Flavors & Extracts segment. This includes expanding business with existing customers, identifying and acquiring new accounts, and actively driving market opportunities across the region.

In your role you will:

* Support the Head of Sales in managing key and global accounts, including developing account strategies, monitoring sales performance, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Manage a portfolio of direct accounts, including developing and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets.
* Lead and manage the sales force to drive local business growth, including setting targets, developing sales plans, and providing coaching and support to the team.
* Monitor market trends, competitors, and customers' needs to develop strategies to grow the business.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure the successful delivery of products and services to customers.
* Participate in sales and marketing activities such as trade shows and customer events to build brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
* Define priorities in terms of projects and samplings.
* Ensures the development of sales objectives and the annual commercial budget and multi-year plans, ensuring constant monitoring of the market and defining the most suitable actions and tools for achieving the objectives in line with the company's policies and image.
* Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the "Flavors & Extracts" Business Unit, actively scouting and acquiring new customers, generating project leads, and driving innovative ideas from concept through to commercial implementation.

The ideal candidate has:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or similar.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales as Account Manager in the F&B or F&F Industry, preferably for Flavour Houses
* A solid background in Flavor & Extract, ideally with a Degree in Food Science & Technology

Nice to have:

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and sales team members.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
* Results-driven and motivated to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
* Knowledge of the food & beverage, flavor & fragrance industries and market trends is preferred.
* Willingness to travel as needed to visit customers and attend trade shows and customer events.

Location : Arosio (CO) – Italy, with flexibility to work full remote
