Our Italy Sales team within Asset Management, located in our Milan Office, is looking to add:
SALES EXECUTIVE - Italy
Main Responsibilities
* The Sales Executive supports senior members of the sales team and proactively pursues new Institutional and Wholesale business.
* Develops and maintains relationships with clients and markets across wholesale and institutional segments, working closely with the Italian sales team.
* Supports senior sales in client activities including sales, service, and communication, attending meetings, conference calls, and events.
* Acts as a gatekeeper for Italian market RFPs on investment and ESG matters in liaison with the RFP Team.
* Maintains internal client management data, including records of meetings and business development activities on the CRM platform.
* Proactively services and assists clients, providing product information and solutions.
* Coordinates and liaises internally and externally for segregated mandates.
* Acts as a coordinator between the Italian PR company and MAM marketing function.
* Produces reports on competitors and market analysis.
* Potentially manages a book of tier 2-3 wholesale investors.
* Partners with key stakeholders including investment teams, SRI team, Marketing, Legal, and Reporting teams to position and deliver to investors and prospects.
* Takes ownership of key operational aspects of the Italian branch, such as office, stationery, and IT.
* Contributes to relationships with third-party organizations like event organizers, consultants, and local market associations.
* Contributes to the improvement of marketing content in Italian to better serve investors.
* Actively monitors wholesale and institutional market opportunities, including managers, competitors, and personnel changes within the local buyer market.
Requirements
* 3+ years’ experience in sales or client servicing within Asset Management.
* Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
* Relevant industry qualifications.
* Good understanding of market structure, asset classes, investment strategies, and ESG.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Fluency in Italian and English, with Italian as a first language.
