Serviceman Transition Facilitator
Position Overview
Duties of a Career Coach include teaching and instructing Military personnel in transitioning to civilian professional and vocational occupations. They guide Servicemen and women in identifying goals, recognizing employment or education gaps, and organizing office activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct groups of up to 50 participants in career development workshops.
- Develop effective training sessions to enhance job readiness skills.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient office operations.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma and 3+ years of experience as a professional trainer or facilitator.
- OR an Associate's degree.
- Proven understanding of private and public sector employment processes.
- Experience as a classroom instructor, proficient in MS Windows and Office, with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to travel and work extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
