Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Negotiate with established clients and identify new business opportunities in Italy, collaborating closely with management.
* Act as a Key Account Manager for assigned international clients, delivering offers and quotes to existing and prospective customers.
* Report directly to the Sales Director Europe, ensuring seamless communication and strategy execution.
Main Activities:
* Develop sales strategies for various products, aligning them with customer needs and company goals.
* Collect and analyze data required for contract preparation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Communicate effectively with technical teams to propose suitable solutions for customers, driving business growth.
* Pursue new business opportunities, particularly in relation to replacing Polyamide compounds, expanding product offerings.
* Negotiate optimal terms of sale in alignment with company management, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
* Manage customer rates, issue material samples, and facilitate laboratory testing, maintaining strong relationships.
* Anticipate and mitigate customer risks, financial risks, delivery disruptions, and changes in customer structures, ensuring stability and growth.
* Facilitate effective communication between customers, management, sales, R&D, QHSE, and finance teams, fostering collaboration.
* Assist technical and sales teams in resolving tests, complaints, or disputes, providing expert support.
* Provide regular reports on individual sales activities, customer situations, and sample progress during exchanges with management and sales meetings.
Your Profile:
* Demonstrate expertise in various sales and negotiation techniques, effectively utilizing them to drive results.
* Showcase detailed knowledge of company technical possibilities and product advantages, differentiating yourself from competitors.
* Exhibit good knowledge of the plastics industry, plastics processing, especially injection molding, with a proven track record of successful account management.
* Apply analytical thinking, adapting to changing market conditions, and making informed decisions to mitigate potential problems.
* Possess strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication across different levels and departments.
* Utilize excellent time management and priority setting skills, maintaining a self-propelled attitude, and achieving targets.
* Effectively use MS Office and ERP systems, staying up-to-date with industry-leading tools.
* Fluently communicate in both Italian and English, facilitating seamless interactions with diverse stakeholders.
About You:
* Hold a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Have 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related role, preferably in the plastics industry.
* Meet the specified language requirements, with fluency in Italian and English.
* Bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
