Job description
In the Moulded Glass business unit, we are looking for you as a Sales Manager Italy (m/f/d) to strengthen our Food & Beverage team.
Do you have initial professional experience in sales, ideally in the packaging industry, and would you like to develop your technical and strategic skills? Then we look forward to getting to know you.
Your tasks will include:
Supporting and developing existing (inter)national customers and targeting potential new customers in the food and beverage industry
Solution-oriented cooperation with B2B customers – from preparing quotations and contracts to processing orders on time
Establishing and maintaining long-term, reliable customer relationships through personal contact and expert advice
Participating in the development of new products and clarifying technical and quality requirements
Support in strategic and operational sales planning and in the implementation of sales and budget targets
Close cooperation with internal and external interfaces such as technology, production, logistics, and quality
Your profile
Completed degree in economics, engineering, or comparable training
Initial experience in sales, key account management, or (new) business development (B2B), in the field of primary packaging and/or the food or beverage industry
Initial touchpoints with the Italian food or beverage market
Technical understanding and interest in sustainable packaging solutions
Initiative, openness to new approaches, and a keen sense of market trends
Strong communication skills, confident manner, and customer-oriented thinking
Very good Italian and English skills
Proficient in MS Office; SAP skills are an advantage
Willingness to travel
