Alectris is an international service provider for renewable assets, primarily focusing on the European market. Our core focus is on operations and maintenance of renewable assets, complemented by engineering services and EPC projects mainly for photovoltaic plants, as well as wind farms on a smaller scale. Job Description The Business Development Manager will identify, prospect, and sell our products and services to clients in Italy. They will collaborate with the CEO and team to prepare and execute marketing and sales strategies. The role involves working closely with the O&M and Projects divisions, participating in tenders, preparing offers, nurturing web inquiries and existing networks, and representing the company at various industry events. Occasional attendance at trade shows and events across Europe will be required for promoting our offerings. Responsibilities Develop growth strategies focusing on financial gains and customer satisfaction. Research new markets and customer needs. Prepare and negotiate sales contracts. Prospect actively through cold calling and social selling. Respond to web-generated leads, nurture them, and close deals. Maintain relationships with clients for cross-selling and feedback collection. Gather market intelligence and conduct analysis as needed. Keep records of sales activities using the company’s CRM system. Prepare responses for RFIs, RFPs, and tenders. Engage in customer interactions including calls, meetings, needs analysis, proposals, presentations, and negotiations. Manage contracts, invoicing, and orders. Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and industry materials. Participate in trade shows and conferences. Report regularly to the CEO. Qualifications Strong industry knowledge, especially in renewables and solar markets. Excellent command of English. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 3-4 years of relevant business development experience. Understanding of customer needs and market challenges in renewables. Knowledge of sales techniques and marketing principles. Training in sales and marketing is advantageous. Self-motivated with a structured approach to research and targeting. Experience with CRM systems preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills. High integrity and time management skills. Ability to set and pursue long and short-term goals.
