We boldly go.Trane Italia Service Sales Team is expanding, and we are looking for a new team member for the Northwest area (Piemonte, Liguria, Valle d’Aosta). As a Services Sales Engineer, you will join Trane’s best‑in‑class Commercial HVAC team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to building efficiency and sustainability through our Service offerings.In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our business strategy by developing long‑term relationships with building owners, strengthening our customer base, and providing comprehensive solutions for highly energy‑efficient buildings. You will bring your passion for problem solving, creating customer value, and building strong relationships to make a real impact.
ResponsibilitiesAcquire customers and orders for service productsIdentify sales opportunities with existing and new customers, prepare proposals, and coordinate internal processes to ensure high customer satisfactionPromote customer growth and loyalty through continuous support and assistancePerform in line with company strategy regarding customer channels, product mix, and pricing levelsTrack and report opportunities in Trane’s customer database in a timely mannerPrepare and review contract terms and conditions using standard Trane templates when applicablePresent proposals to customersFollow up with purchasing process stakeholdersDevelop, evaluate, and discuss possible solutions with customersAchieve assigned sales and customer development targets by focusing on service, customer acquisition, and account development
RequirementsTechnical Diploma (high school degree)1–3 years of industrial sales experience (preferably HVAC)We also consider junior profiles without experience in HVAC or sales, including those with PM or quotation backgroundsMarket intelligence and competitive awarenessNice to have proven sales skills with the ability to achieve resultsBasic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or thermodynamic principles (refrigerant circuits, compressors) – preferableCustomer advocacy mindsetStrong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, enabling a consultative selling approachAbility to build strong customer relationships based on trustTeam player focused on both individual and shared goalsCommitment to excellenceFluent Italian and communicative English (minimum B1 level)Proficiency in MS Office and OutlookLocation: Turin (preferred)
