As an exclusive partner of other brands in the sports sector we offer our entire know how in communication, sales and image building.We are a team of more than 1000 employees in 11 countries worldwide – a group of adventurers and dreamers, mountaineers, looking for their next peak.At Salewa we are looking for a Product Manager Apparel who works closely with the Sr Product Manager to translate the brand strategy into a clear and competitive seasonal collection framework.This role ensures the development of apparel and accessories product lines, in alignment with market needs, brand positioning, and business objectives.Working cross-functionally, the Product Manager delivers high-quality, performance-driven products on time and at the right price, leveraging consumer insights and market trends.Tasks and responsibilitiesContribute to developing the seasonal product line plan and category matrix in line with the brand's strategic directionContribute to defining and delivering detailed product briefs (features, design, functionality, target costs, and quality standards) to guide Design and Product Development teamsSupport the translation of the brand's financial objectives into a concrete category business plan, including product concepts, price positioning, and sales potentialCollect and analyze market, sales, and consumer feedback to support line planning and continuous product improvementAnalyze competitors, pricing strategies, and market trends to identify opportunities and support future product directionWork closely with Design and Development teams throughout the product creation process, ensuring alignment with product briefs and key milestonesCollaborate with Marketing to define product storytelling and support communication with relevant product insights and technical informationPresent product concepts and features during sales meetings and internal training to ensure strong product knowledge across teamsMonitor product costs and margins to support category profitability and business targetsSupport product lifecycle management, driving continuous improvement based on performance analysis (sell-in and sell-out)ProfileDegree in Economics, Marketing, Communication, Industrial/Product Design or comparable education5+ years of experience in a Product Management role preferably within the sporting goods or outdoor industryStrong understanding of the product creation process and product lifecycleFinancial acumen with understanding of sales performance, margins, and merchandising dynamicsAnalytical skills with the ability to interpret sell-through data and product performanceExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsPlanning and organizational skillsVery good English skills; Italian or German is a plusAvailability to travel internationallyPassion for mountain and outdoor sportsIf you are interested to work in a challenging, international and dynamic environment then apply now!#J-18808-Ljbffr
