Our client, a Global Pharmaceutical company with Italian HQ based in Milan, is looking for a:
Sales Manager
The candidate will have the responsibility of directing the growth, leading a team in alignment with global and regional strategies.
Main activities and responsibilities:
- Will leads and inspire a team of Key Account Managers and Marketing
- Oversee product lifecycle management—from launch planning and pricing to promotional execution
- Ensure successful market access and tender management processes
- Build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, payers, and regulatory authorities
- Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, and policy changes to inform strategic decisions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with medical, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure operational excellence
- Uphold the highest standards of compliance and ethical conduct
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including 3+ years in a commercial leadership role
- Proven success in launching and managing pharmaceutical products
- Deep understanding of the local healthcare system, regulatory landscape, and market access strategies
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Availability for frequent business trips
- Fluency in Italian and English
