Role Mission
For our sales team in east Germany, we are looking for a Factory Automation Channel Account Manager who shares our passion for industrial automation solutions and Industry 4.0. In this role, you will not only manage a defined sales territory but also take responsibility for strategically important key applications and customers, actively driving their development and success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Taking full ownership of the acquisition, development, and ongoing support of customers within a defined DACH sales territory following comprehensive training in products and sales processes;
2. Identifying, managing, and developing key applications and strategically relevant customers, proactively addressing their needs and positioning our solutions as preferred technologies;
3. Expanding and maintaining existing customer and sales partner relationships, creating tailored technical and commercial proposals, and leading contract negotiations;
4. Preparing and delivering product and solution presentations at customer sites, system integrators, OEMs, and trade fairs;
5. Identifying new business opportunities, applications, and market potential through proactive sales activities, directly contributing to the achievement of sales targets;
6. Contributing to the development and execution of sales and market strategies, with a strong focus on application-driven sales approaches;
Requirements
7. Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering, business administration or a comparable qualification as a technician/master craftsman or you are a real sales enthusiast.
8. Language: Fluency in German and English, any additional language skills are a plus but not necessary.
9. Experience: 5 of years+ in selling BTB. Knowledge of Industrial customers in automotive, packaging, electronics, is a plus but not mandatory.
