We are looking for a Sous Chef with creativity, passion, and a desire to be part of SushiSamba’s first opening in Italy. In this role, you will contribute to the management of the kitchen and support the Head Chef in maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Supporting the Head Chef in overseeing preparation and service, ensuring every dish meets brand standards.
Communicating effectively with the kitchen brigade daily to achieve culinary objectives.
Training, motivating, and leading the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive environment.
Handling special guest requests, ensuring impeccable service.
Maintaining order, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen, following HACCP procedures and food safety standards.
Monitoring stock and production line organization to ensure efficiency and continuity of service.
Actively contributing creative ideas for dishes and kitchen processes.
At least 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef, preferably in Japanese or fusion restaurants.
In-depth knowledge of Japanese cuisine and international culinary techniques.
Excellent command of Italian and English.
Experience with HACCP procedures, food safety, and hygiene standards.
Full-time permanent contract.
